So, today I took my car in for service and they had to keep it overnight. This resulted in my having a loaner for the day/evening, which meant I was unable to listen to my iPod in the car. I pretty much never listen to the radio anymore unless I'm forced to, and today was one of those "forced to" days. I heard many songs that I had been unaware of - some good, some horrid - but I hear one particular song at least four times. And every single time, it made me think about 'shipping.

Why? Because that's what happens when I listen to music. My brain instantly starts to think about what pairing fits the lyrics of every single song that I hear. If it's a really good song, I even start formulating fanvids in my mind as I listen to the music.

So I heard this song repeatedly today, and it's not a happy-ending song. So I was like... WTF, who can I apply this to and actually make it fit without it being prematurely depressing?

But seriously, once I really started to listening to it again with them in mind... yeah, this song pwns them. In an incredibly depressing way, but still. I also think it totally describes the POV of a lot of us Carby fangirls back in our final days with the show/'ship when we had reached the point of no return.

Anyway, check this out -- Carby fans, don't you think this is disturbingly fitting? I'm super fucking tempted to do a fanvid, but I'm not sure if I'll ever have the emotional stability to delve into those clips ever again :-p

Oh, and just in case you want to be reminded of why Carby are "a tough act to follow" (read: torture yourself), check this out:

So, I made another fanvid. This has also been on my list of songs to video since, like, last September. I was planning on writing fics this hiatus, but my fic muse either refuses to cooperate or it wants to play but my brain won't properly engage. Thus, I end up making fanvids instead. This may be it for a while, though - we'll see. I start school again in about a week and a half, and I don't expect to have time to sit and edit and/or write after that :( Anyway, in the meantime, I hope some of you will watch this and let me know what you think...

the transition between editing software and export/compression for youtube caused some kinks.
if you don't be sure to hit the HQ button and watch it that way, it's probably going to suck.

This is me attempting (and failing wonderfully) to review the finale of Grey's: Blinded By Post-it Rage.

Enjoy. Bitchiness is food for the soul, people.

Since my mission to watch every episode of Scrubs isn't working out so well thanks to it being unavailable for free streaming pretty much ANYWHERE online, I'm just going to sit here and fill out this meme until MegaVideo is done making me wait another 54 minutes before I can start watching again. Rude, really, but whatevvvvvvvvvvv.

And so, an iTunes shuffle meme...

WARNINGS: I suppose... references to sex?
SPOILERS: Everything, ever, all the way to "Both Sides Now." If you haven't seen the S5 finale and do not want to be spoiled, I'd run away right now.
SUMMARY: Honeymoon fic! “This is who we are, babe. There’s a reason for everything..." Chase & Cameron discuss their unorthodox history together.
NOTES: Thanks to kaitmaree77 for giving this a look-see and providing encouraging feedback. Chase and Cameron have always been the definition of "accidentally in love" to me, and I think it's important to always remember how they started and how far they've come since then. I imagine it's always in the backs of their minds, too, and this is a story of them acknowledging it all very openly. Hopefully it's fitting.

After months of listening to Taylor Swift on constant repeat in the car, on the iTunes, on the iPod while traveling (you get the idea) and planning, moment by moment, exactly how I would turn it into a fanvid... it's finally complete.

And after staying up until nearly 5:30am finishing the export/upload/processing shenanigans then waking up an hour later to be tortured by my personal trainer, I am finally - finally - going to get some real sleep before I have to go to work.

Hopefully the vid is enjoyable. Comments are love, but comments on YouTube are even more love.

Review whore? Me? Noooooooo :)

That was a Post-It Note cop-out, Shonda Rhimes. Fuck that.

And I could care less what you do to George, but if you kill Izzie Stevens-Karev I honestly don't think I can keep watching this show anymore.

Ugh. Just - ugh.

Ganked the season finale of Bones from the Canada feed about three hours ago now and the brain is still doing this:

Leigh and I loved it once the initial "WTF JUST HAPPENED?" shock faded, but caroline_carter is beyond pissed.
